Entry#3: Don't tell me half the news, tell me all of it!

Image result for slanted reportingHey guys welcome back. Have you ever told, listened or read a story and the writer or you kind of tells the story but not the whole story in detail. That is called slanted reporting, I know that I am guilty of it and so are many other people like news reporters, bloggers, and anyone else who feels the need to report a story. Slanted reporting can be biased because its only looking at the story from your point of view. It could nine times out of ten be false news because the story isn't fully reported. Sometimes when watching the news, the reporter will tell the news story based on the information that he/she just received without doing any further investigation that would be a great example of slanted reporting. At first , I honestly didn't have a clue with what slanted reporting was until my ENG102 teacher had a miniature lesson on it. I am actually guilty of doing this to my mom and friends. Like lets say I went out with friends and the night ended with a party that didn't end until 3 a.m. I wouldn't give my mom the whole details of the stories like i would tell my friends who weren't there but she would get the idea of it. Next time when your getting ready to speak on a story, please remember to tell the whole story or don't tell it at all. You don't want to be walking around slanted reporting 😃.
