Entry#8 Give your self confidence a boost!

    Hi guys this week we're gong to talk about having self confidence and what we could do to boost it. Self confidence is a feeling of trust in one's abilities, qualities, and judgement. Many times we are judged by the way we look, this can really down our self confidence. I always go by the saying "When you look good you feel good" because its so true!! When my hair and eyebrows are not done, I feel like the ugliest person on earth. But when my hair, nails, and outfit are on point, my self confidence is on a all time high. I recently was having a moment when I had low self confidence especially after having my son. After carrying a baby for almost ten months, my body went through drastic changes. What helped me get through this phase was exercise and doing things that I loved to do. I loved to run, exercise and listen to all kinds of music. Of course the results weren't shown over night. With consistency and patience, I gained my self confidence and lost a few pounds in the process. There are five things you can do to boost your self confidence, and they are ....

#1.Start working on your appearance
     Pick at least three things that you want to change about your appearance. It could be either changing your hair style or color, or the smallest thing getting your eyebrows arched. Even changing up your style in clothes goes a long way.There are plenty things you could do to make you feel confident as far as appearance wise. Whatever makes you comfortably and confident, go for it!

#2. Exercise

Exercising can really help boost your self confidence because in due time, you can tone up your body. You could just work on the things you want to shape up like your arms, glutes, etc. Set a realistic weight goal for yourself and aim high.  My favorite exercises were squats, lady push ups and crunches but you work on whatever makes you feel happy. But remember if you're going to exercise a diet has to be followed for accurate results.

#3.Think and Act Positive
Image result for thinking positiveHaving a positive mind is key to gaining self confidence. When you act positive you start to see positive results. Instead of telling yourself you can't do something, start saying ''I can" or ''I will". The more positive you act the more positive you'll become. Being positive,  you'll learn to walk away from negative things and situations.




#4. Love yourself first

 Loving yourself consists on following your morals and values. Knowing your worth and what you will and wont accept in your life. Getting rid of everything and everyone who serves no purpose in your life. Going through spiritual and personal growth, becoming the person your destined to be. Doing things that you love to do will give you tons of self confidence.








#5. Smile

    Always remember to smile. This tiny gesture can uplift your confidence even when you have low self esteem. You never know your smile can brighten up someones day. You use less muscles smiling and more muscles frowning soo....Smile! Those are the top five things to do when you feel your self confidence getting low. I encourage everyone to try at least one of these a day.

  1. This is such a great post! I think everyone struggles with self confidence. It's funny how you mentioned "when you look good, you feel good." I've always believed this was true. When my hair needs done or when I'm breaking out my confidence is at an extreme low. However, when I get my hair done, I walk out of the hair salon feeling like a super model and my confidence is up. I sometimes think we're our worst critic. It's important to love yourself. I like how you mentioned that in this post. The tips and suggestions you had were great! Thank you for sharing!
