Entry#10: Week 1 and now were almost done!

Image result for transitioning butterfly  Hey guys, this week I will be talking about my transition from week one to now the last week of English 102.  Looking back on week one to now week 14, I've noticed a big transition within myself. For it to be my second time around blogging, I must admit this experience can never get old. I find myself wanting to blog on blogger more than be on social media. On blogger, I feel more free and open to talk about my personal life experiences and my opinions on certain topics. Recently I've been more free and open about certain situations I never once was open to talk about. During week one of this class, I was nervous to even speak in front of a large group of people, now majority of my talking is done in front of twelve to twenty-five people max. Writing long essays has never really been my thing until I been in this class. My professor showed me how to use the rhetorical triangle properly in my essays. The rhetorical triangle is a triangle broken up into three appeals; pathos(emotional), ethos(credibility), and logos(logic). He taught us that the standard five page essay is limiting our ideas, since then I love writing essay. The way my teacher explains things in detail makes me feel confident in writing anything pertaining to essays. I gained a new positive attitude in English, and I feel more confident in my journey in becoming a registered nurse. I know this job will require me to talk to different patients and their families but I'm ready. Throughout this fourteen weeks, I learned to establish a tone of voice and expand my vocabulary to use different words instead of the simple words I was used to. I'm very thankful for my professor because he made me bring out my creative side ( which I didn't know I had😤). This blogging thing was fun , week fourteen showed me I'm capable of doing anything I challenge my mind to do..

  2. I feel the same way. At the beggining it was har for me to start up the bogs, but know I feel like I am more confident about it. Applying the rhetorical triangle has been hard for me.
